Jim Zimmerman

Jim Zimmerman is Chief Evangelist Officer of EverTrue, a leading provider of mobile alumni networking platforms for schools, colleges and universities. EverTrue works with nearly 200 institutions, including Amherst College, Brown University, Boston University, Pomona College, Virginia Military Institute, Phillips Exeter Academy, Choate Rosemary Hall, and St. Mark’s School of Texas.

He is a graduate of Bucknell University and was formerly President of the Bucknell University Alumni Association, a Trustee of Bucknell University, and President of the Carlisle (MA) Education Foundation.

Jim served for 32 years as one of the most successful independent school fundraisers, having raised more than $300 million for schools nationwide. For 19 years, he served as Director of Development at Middlesex School where he led that institution’s centennial celebration and successfully managed what was at the time the largest independent school campaign in history ($127 million). He has also held leadership advancement roles at The Lawrenceville School (NJ), Cate School (CA), and Francis Parker School (CA).

Jim is also Principal of Coughlin-Zimmerman Associates and has served as a fundraising consultant and trusted advisor to schools and other nonprofit organizations.

Jim lives with his family in San Diego, California.
